On-Campus Resources for Families

Panther Care Pantries

Students learn and thrive best when their basic needs are met. Each school building is home to a care pantry, available for all students whenever they need support. Pantries are stocked with essential items, including:

  • Personal hygiene products
  • Clothing
  • Food
  • School supplies

Our goal is to ensure every student has what they need to feel confident, cared for, and ready to succeed.

How can students access their school pantry?

Students in need can reach out to any staff member in their building. Our staff will promptly and confidentially assist them in accessing the pantry, ensuring support is easy, respectful, and discreet.

Mobile Dentist

The Mobile Dentist program provides annual on-site dentistry services to eligible students in grades K-12. Services include dental cleaning, screening, and fluoride treatment.  In addition, each participating student receives an oral health "Report Card" and a free toothbrush. This program has provided exceptional dental care to Miami Trace students for many years.

How can students access the Mobile Dentist Service?

Information is sent to families each year. At that time, parents/guardians can opt in to the Mobile Dentist Service.

iSee Vision Program

Each fall, Miami Trace partners with the Ohio Optometric Foundation to bring the iSee Program to our students. Approximately 80% of children who fail school vision screenings do not receive follow-up eye care. The iSee Program helps close this gap by providing access to comprehensive vision services, ensuring students get the care they need to see clearly and succeed in the classroom.

How can students access services through the iSee Program?

Students who qualify through vision screenings conducted by the school nurses are referred to the program, and parents/guardians will be notified.

Mental Health Services

Grounded in our Whole-Child approach, we recognize that students learn best when their social and emotional needs are supported. Miami Trace partners with a variety of trusted organizations to offer on-site mental health support as well as alcohol and drug prevention and treatment services.

  • Integrated Services of Behavioral Health (ISBH)
  • Pickaway Area Recovery Services (PARS)
  • Scioto Paint Valley (SPV)

How can students access mental health supports?

Families and students can reach out to a school counselor or administrator, who will provide confidential support and connect them access the appropriate mental health resources available on-site or through community partners.
