Registration Opens for ALL Students on March 1

  • New Student Registration

    We will be accepting new residential student registration for the 2026-27 school year from May 1 to July 17.

    Upon completion of online registration, it is essential that you contact the appropriate school building(s) in order to schedule an appointment for the finalization of the registration process.

    Returning Student Registration

    Returning resident student registration for the 2026-27 school year is open from May 1 to July 17.

  • Open Enrollment Applications

    Open enrollment applications for the 2026-27 school year will be accepted from March 1 to May 31.  

    Anyone wishing to apply may do so by completing the Open Enrollment Application linked below for each student they intend to be considered for open enrollment.

    Application does not guarantee acceptance. Parent/Guardians will be notified of Open Enrollment acceptance or denial by mail on or before August 1st.

    * VERY IMPORTANT *

    Once the Open Enrollment Application is complete, students must then be registered in FinalForms.
    Applications without a completed FinalForms registration, will not be considered.

  • Kindergarten Registration

    The registration link for Kindergarten 2026-27 will be live on March 1st.

    If you are registering for the 2026-2027 school year and do not reside within the Miami Trace Local School District, you must complete an Open Enrollment Application by April 30.

    To fully complete the registration process, you will need the following:

    • child's birth certificate
    • vaccination records or exemption form
    • proof of residency in the form of a utility bill (gas, water, or electric), lease agreement, or mortgage closing document

    These items can be uploaded to FinalForms or in person with an appointment at Miami Trace Elementary School.

Enrollment Dates for the 2026-27 School Year

Kindergarten Registration
     (Resident AND Non-Resident Students)
     March 1 - April 30

Open Enrollment Application & Student Registration
     (Non-Resident Students)
     March 1 - May 31

New & Returning Student Registration
     (Resident Students)
     March 1 – July 17

 

Student Schedules (grades 1-12) will be available through ProgressBook on July 20 for all students that have completed the registration process through FinalForms.

Need to Update Information?

Update FinalForms throughout the year with changes to phone number, address, custody, etc.

 

Update Student Information in FinalForms
