RESIDED IN THE DISTRICT SINCE: 1977

In 1977 my parents moved our family here from Montgomery County, Ohio. I asked my dad several times while growing up why we moved here and he always had the same response, He wanted me to grow up in a safe and giving community and to receive a great education. To this day I thank them for moving us into the Miami Trace School District and giving me such an amazing childhood, in a caring community and in the best school district ever!

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO SERVE ON THE BOARD?

Growing up here I was blessed that I had so many incredible people give back to our community and help provide great opportunities for myself and others. I have always thought it is important to give back to the community that has given me so much.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF ABOUT MIAMI TRACE LOCAL SCHOOLS?

Every time I step foot on the Miami Trace campus it is very clear that each person involved in the district has one goal in mind, and that goal is to do what is best for the kids. From the superintendent, to the treasurer, to the board of education, to the administration, to the teaching staff, to the office staff, to the bus drivers, to the cafeteria workers, to the custodians and all other support staff, every person employed here acts happy to be here and excited each day to help your kids and takes pride in wearing the MT logo on their shirt.
